Saint John Police Receive Reports Of Prowlers Over The Weekend

It’s as easy as pushing a button and yet oftentimes we don’t remember to lock our vehicle doors, but Saint John police are once again reminding you to do so and to put away your valuables after getting calls over the weekend about prowlers in residential neighbourhoods.

Police arrested a 26-year-old man over the weekend after responding to a suspicious man prowling in a residential area on the east side. He was picked up at 1:17am.

Meantime, Police also arrested a 20-year-old at 11:15pm on Friday after he allegedly assaulted two police officers at an event at UNB Saint John.

Police say they noticed he was intoxicated and he started a confrontation with them which is when they took him into custody. He’s facing two counts of assaulting police and is also charged with causing a disturbance and obstructing police.
