Arbitration Hearing For Deputy Police Chief Rescheduled

The arbitration hearing at the New Brunswick Police Commission into the conduct of Saint John Deputy Police Chief Glen McCloskey during the Richard Oland murder investigation has been delayed by more than a year.

The hearing had been scheduled to begin later this week but now has been rescheduled to October of next year.

Deputy Chief McCloskey was cleared of any wrongdoing following an 8 month investigation by police in Halifax in October of last year. That investigation was prompted by testimony at the murder trial of Dennis Oland by retired Police Sergeant Mike King concerning McCloskey’s involvement in the case.
