Musquash Fire responded to a house fire in Lepreau early Saturday morning.
Heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from the home located on Wetmore Creek Road.
Firefighters worked in extremely cold temperatures which froze one hose and several oxygen tanks.
As a precaution, one firefighter was assessed and released by paramedics on the scene.
Blacks Harbour and St George fire departments helped battle the blaze.
The fire remains under investigation.
Firefighters were on the scene for roughly seven hours.

Meantime, fire crews were called out this morning to Route 845 after getting a report of a car leaving the road and catching fire near a house.
