Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long has been removed from two Parliamentary Committees he was serving on after voting with the Conservatives to extend the consultation period on tax changes until the the new year.
Long has been removed from Human Resources, Skills, Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities as well as the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics.
While expressing disappointment, Long says he respects and understands the party’s decision, adding he’s proud of the work he has done on poverty reduction.
