Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau concedes changes are coming to the controversial tax proposals and promises more clarity to small business owners who have been so vocal in their opposition.
Conservative M-P Shannon Stubbs, who’s a member of the party’s shadow cabinet, says the Trudeau Government’s spin that only the wealthy would have to pay more was disingenuous. She goes on to say our billionaire finance minister and millionaire prime minister would not have been affected.
Stubbs contends the small business owners who make from 35 to 73 thousand dollars a year would be adversely affected, not to mention the workers they employ.
