Just as the family said, the origin of the fire that destroyed Bates Barn in Long Point on February 15th is suspicious. So says the RCMP in Hampton who have information a car was seen leaving the area at the time of the blaze.
Anyone who may have seen people or vehicles on Route 850 near the Bates Barn on the night of February 14th or prior to 2:30 on the morning of February 15th is asked to contact the RCMP in Hampton at (506) 832-5566.
