Trial Date Set In Irving Pulp And Paper River Pollution Case

A trial date has been set in the Irving Pulp and Paper river pollution case.

The trial will start on October 30 and six weeks have been set aside.

Irving has plead not guilty to 15 counts of illegal dumping into the St. John River from the pulp mill at Reversing Falls on the city’s west side. Irving reported the issues itself.

Irving Pulp and Paper said in an earlier statement to CHSJ News that it is in compliance with all environmental laws and that there wasn’t any death of fish in the natural environment and no environmental damage because of the incidents.
