A war of words that started in Grand Bay-Westfield wound up in a physical confrontation on the east side of the city with a 23 year old man injured.
Police Sergeant Chuck Breen says one driver followed the other to Coldbrook Crescent and that’s when the passenger was struck when he got out of the car. The second vehicle then took off but Police later arrested a 69 year old man who’s facing charges of dangerous driving and assault.
In a separate case, the Family Protection Unit is appealing for a man to come forward who in the early morning hours of February 12th drove a woman in distress from the north end to St. John Street on the west side.
