Human remains found on Gagetown Island in the Saint John River have been identified as a woman from Fredericton.
The remains were found by a boater on the island in the Jemseg area about a month ago and they have been found to be those of a 44-year-old Fredericton woman last seen in January of this year.
RCMP say foul play has been ruled out.
