Local businesses stepped up to help feed the hungry through a new lunch program operating out of Wayne Long’s office in Market Square.
Long and his staff announced recently that they will be offering lunch to those who may need a meal.
Moe Arsenault of Rocky’s Sports Bar says they will be providing sandwiches for the program.
He says not everyone is as fortunate enough to go out and enjoy a meal or even get a meal so for them it’s right thing to do and we’ll be more of this to help out the community.
Arsenault hopes that other restaurants will help out the cause.
