Saint John Police Arrest Three Men For Home Invasion

An arrest has been made in a home invasion and robbery in Saint John as police Sergeant Chuck Breen tells us.

“Between the 17 and 20 of March, Saint John police Major Crime Unit, arrested three males, ages 28, 26 and 19 years old for a home invasion robbery,” says Breen, “The three are being charged with robbery and for wearing a mask while committing an offence.”

Police have also arrested a 29-year-old man for a break and enter that happened at Thandi’s restaurant in January and were able to recover the safe that had been stolen.

And in another separate incident, police made an arrested after getting called out to Metcalf Street for an assault.

“Officers were advised by the victim that her boyfriend had thrown a boot at her, which struck her in the face, causing her lip to bleed and to swell,” says Breen,

“While speaking with police, the victim advised that on the 18 of March her boyfriend became upset and started to drag her around by her hair and began choking her. He threatened to harm her if she called police.”

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on two charges of assault and a charge of threats.
