Provincial Green Party leader David Coon says he has been hearing from people in his riding complaining about long wait times for medical treatment, placing their health in jeopardy.
He`s calling for health care funding to be increased and this could be achieved if the province didn`t subsidise one of the big banks which records big profits each year.
Coon is referring to the $9 million in financial assistance from the province, including a $6.8 million forgiveable loan, for the bank’s call centre in Moncton.
