Wednesday Morning Sports For April 12th

Three explosions rocked the Borussia Dortmund team bus as the soccer team, one of the best in Germany, was making its way to its home stadium for a Champions League match against Monoco. Defender Marc Bartra was injured and the match was postponed. A note claiming responsibility was found near the site of the explosions.

Mathieu Joseph scored a hat trick and Julien Gauthier got his second consecutive game winning goal as the Saint John Sea Dogs defeated Val-d’Or 7-3 to take a 3 games to nothing lead in their quarterfinal.

Goaltender Alex D’Orio and forward Cedric Pare remain among the top prospects for the 2017 NHL Draft on a final rankings list.
