Callum Booth made 22 saves for his second straight shutout and Samuel Dove-McFalls scored both goals as the Saint John Sea Dogs defeated the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 2-0 to take a 3 games to nothing lead in the President Cup final. Meantime, Mathieu Joseph of the Sea Dogs has been named C-H-L Player of the Week and Booth has been named Goaltender of the Week.

In the Stanley Cup playoffs, Defenseman Erik Karlsson had a goal and an assist while Craig Anderson made 37 saves as Ottawa eliminated the New York Rangers with a 4-2 win in Game 6 of their second round series.

In the National Basketball League, the Saint John Riptide were eliminated in five games after losing to the Island Storm in overtime 102-96.

In the NBA playoffs, it was San Antonio 110 Houston 107 in overtime to give the Spurs a 3 games to 2 lead.
