44 year old Christopher Belyea of King Street East was scheduled to go on trial this week accused of assaulting a woman and attempting to drag her away back on March 1st along Hampton Road.
Three men who work at K-V Rentals were praised for intervening.
Belyea instead pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and was sentenced to more than 3 years in prison. He will get credit for time already served in jail.
