A 21 year old man was locked up after his girlfriend told police they got into an argument in an apartment on Micheal Crescent and she wound up being choked before making her way outside.
Police say the man followed, pushed her to the ground and began dragging the woman along the street but stopped when someone intervened.
In a separate incident, a 24 year old man was arrested after another man told police he was attacked without provocation at the entrance to the Market Square Boardwalk.
