Arbitration Hearing Announced For Saint John Deputy Police Chief

There will be an arbitration hearing involving Saint John Deputy Police Chief Glen McCloskey before the New Brunswick Police Commission.

The hearing stems from the Dennis Oland murder investigation but the specifics have not been spelled out.

McCloskey was cleared of any criminal wrongdoing last fall by the Halifax Regional Police which conducted an 8 month independent investigation. He became the focus of attention during the murder trial because of testimony by retired Sergeant Mike King.

The announcement of the hearing on the New Brunswick Police Commission website reads Police Chief John Bates on behalf of the Saint John Board of Police Commissioners versus Deputy Chief Glen McCloskey.
