It’s official. Sea Dogs centre Joe Veleno has been traded to Drummondville.

In exchange, the Saint John Sea Dogs get three first-round draft picks and two second-round picks from Drummondville.
17 year old Veleno played two and a half seasons with the Sea Dogs who selected him first overall in the 2015 Q-league entry draft.
Sea Dogs President Trevor Georgie calls it the biggest transaction in the team’s history and one of the largest Q-league trades in recent history.

– 2018 1st round pick (previously acquired from the GAT)
– 2019 1st round pick (previously acquired from the BLB)
– 2020 1st round pick
– 2018 2nd round pick (previously acquired from the QUE)
