Saint John police are investigating an assault on Ellerdale Street on the east side.
Sergeant Chuck Breen says a 28-year-old man told police he got into an argument in his parking lot with two men he knew, one hit him in the face with a pipe and the other punched him.
They left in a vehicle which police found shortly after and arrested a 46-year-old man for assault. He was taken to the police station and has a future court date. Police are looking to arrest a 32-year-old man.
The 28-year-old was taken to hospital and treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.
