The Saint John Sea Dogs snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory last night over the visiting Quebec Remparts.
Alex D’Orio made 44 saves and Anthony Boucher scored twice for the Sea Dogs.
Ostap Safin and Robbie Burt also scored for Saint John.

The Saint John Riptide’s five-game winning streak came to an end last night with a 90-84 loss to the Island Storm.
The Riptide are tied with Halifax for first place in the NBL’s Atlantic Division.

In the NHL, Winnipeg edged Calgary 2-1 in a shootout, Boston downed Montreal 4-1, Toronto got past Ottawa 4-3, Edmonton beat Vancouver 5-2, the Rangers fell to Colorado 3-1, and Philadelphia beat New Jersey 3-1.
