Those of you looking for a free place to park during this week-long round-the-clock parking ban in the city’s South Central Peninsula now have another option.
The Port of Saint John offering residents the use of Lower Cove for parking. Paula Copeland of the Port tells CHSJ News being adjacent to that area and having the space available it just seemed like the right thing to do.
Parking is now available and you can enter at the gate on Broad Street at Charlotte Street.
It’s expected the lot can hold several hundred vehicles and you can park at this location until the local state of emergency is lifted.
