You Can Help Homeless Locally By Volunteering

Many of us were concerned to hear about the closure of the Salvation Army Men’s Shelter–and the Outflow men’s shelter is helping to fill that gap.

There’s a volunteer info session being held for people interested in volunteering at the shelter is coming up tomorrow night at 6:30pm at RiverCross Mission on 211 Main Street–the old Main St. Baptist Church building.

The session could be up to 90 minutes long but attending does not commit you to volunteering.

Another session will be coming up in the fall as the Shelter puts on a push for volunteers ahead of the winter.
