New Brunswick Could Be In For Warmer But Wetter Fall

Accuweather is predicting that New Brunswick will enjoy above normal temperatures and precipitation this fall.

Meteorologist Brett Anderson says the warm sea-surface temperatures surrounding Atlantic Canada will be a big factor this autumn.

“Sea-surface temperatures have been averaging 3 to 4 degrees Celsius above normal this summer. We don’t expect that to change anytime soon.”

Although it has been a quiet Atlantic hurricane season so far, Anderson expects at least one tropical-like system could impact Atlantic Canada sometime in September.
