Extended Family Of Seven Homeless After Fire In Greenfield

A fire in a rural New Brunswick community leaving devastation in its wake, destroying the home and belongings of an extended seven-person family made up of a couple, their daughter, son-in-law, and three young grandkids. No one was hurt, however.

The fire happened in Greenfield, which is just north of Florenceville-Bristol and was reported at about 4 a.m. on Thursday.

Volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross are helping the family with a place to stay, food and clothing.
