RCMP are expected to appear in Moncton court again today, on charges under the Canada Labour code.
These charges were laid in connection with a shooting incident on June 4th, 2014, that left three officers dead and two others injured and they relate to alleged violations of the force’s equipment, training and supervision.
Constables Doug Larche, Fabrice Gevaudan and Dave Ross were killed and Constables Eric Dubois and Darlene Goguen were injured.
The incident terrorized the city of Moncton, while it was under lockdown for roughly 30 hours.
Justin Bourque pleaded guilty to three counts of first degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. He is serving a life sentence with no eligibility for parole for 75 years.
