Part of Highway 1 westbound all around Spruce Lake from Lorneville to Prince of Wales has been shut down after a multi-vehicle collision in poor visibility cause by blowing snow. As many as 10 cars may be off the highway about three kilometers past the Lorneville exit.
A transit bus will be transporting those people off the road and stuck in their cold cars back to the city.
There was another collision in that same area earlier this morning. White out conditions are reported as you go along the highway west of Catherwood.
