Saint John police say a home invasion and robbery that took place in the middle of the day on the West side was not a random act.
Seargeant Lori Magee says all the people involved in the incident know each other and Major Crime is now on the case.
Just after 1pm on Thursday a man and woman came into an apartment on Champlain Street with a weapon, assaulted a 30-year-old man who sustained some minor injuries and stole some items.
Magee says the pair then took off in a vehicle.
