Social Development clients who receive payments by cheque will not be getting them in the mail this week.
You will have to pick them up at a regional office due to the potential disruption of mail services.
In our area, those offices are located at 344 Somerset Street in Saint John, 707 Main Street in Sussex, 73 Milltown Boulevard in St. Stephen, and 460 Two Nations Crossing in Fredericton.
They will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, with the exception of the Saint John location, which will only be open on Wednesday.
Clients will have to produce two pieces of ID, such as their health card, to collect their payment.
Monthly payments made by direct deposit will be issued as normal.
