The Saint John Emergency Measures Organization will be keeping an eye on the weather.
Individuals can help by clearing catch basins and gutters that are covered in leaves, garbage or other debris.
When they are clear, it provides better drainage for stormwater.
The city recommends slowing down, keeping your headlights on, observe all posted signs and barricades and stay away from any flooded areas.
