The body of Sergeant Andrew Joseph Doiron of Moncton who attended Matthieu Martin High School, a member of the Special Operations Regiment, is being flown to C-F-B Trenton in Ontario.
Among the dignitaries who’ll be on hand this afternoon are Governor-General David Johnston and Defense Minister Jason Kenny who says they will get to the bottom of what happened amid conflicting reports with three investigations launched.
Sergeant Doiron was killed when members of the Special Operations Forces were mistakenly fired upon by Iraqi Kurdish forces.
