The Story Of Social Entrepreneur Barry Ogden

A long-time educator in Saint John Barry Ogden now has a biography titled “Ogden’s Odyssey”.

The book is about fighting poverty and restoring pride here in Saint John. The book was written by Gerry Pond and Lisa Hrabluk and Barry says it’s available on e-book and it’s selling fast.

Ogden says the book includes reflections of some people and some actions, and how we can create positive change to make things happen.

On top of being a retired teacher, Ogden is also the founder of the Marigold Project, he spear headed an initiative to have murals displayed in the city, he’s heavily involved with the Marco Polo project and also works with the Saint John Sea Wolves.

For $5, you can pick up the book at 16 locations in the region including Peddlers Creek, the NB Museum, Slocum and Ferris in the City Market and the Human Development Council in Brunswick Square.
