The Anti-Shale Gas Alliance Not Surprised To Hear SWN Resources Is Suspending Operations

The New Brunswick Anti-Shale Gas Alliance is not surprised to see SWN Resources suspend operations.

Jim Emberger says there isn’t much for them to do with a moratorium on fracking in place.

He tells us any objective review on the impacts of a shale gas industry on public health will not be done quickly.

He says there is enough identified danger to public health that long-term studies are needed to figure it all out and these will by their very nature take years.

Emberger says there is a no quick turnaround on medical studies relating to this topic.
