There is happiness is Hampton tonight as the lights are back.
The town and surrounding areas the last of the communites impacted by a major power outage this afternoon.
At its worst after 2pm, more than 20,000 NB Power homes and businesses were impacted in parts of Saint John, Rothesay, Quispamsis and Hampton.
By 430, all but 4100 in the Hampton were off the grid and after 7pm Hamptonians got their lights back .
NB Power tweeted they located the cause of the transmission outage and announced they were working to reconnect power.
