City Police doing well in a survey that was done by Ipsos Reid back in September, the results of which have now been passed along to Common Council.
The overall satisfaction rate with policing in the city is higher now that it was three years ago and compares favourably to the level of satisfaction expressed for Common Council.
The Ipsos Reid survey finds 73 per cent of respondents say City Police do a good or very good job with only 5 per cent saying poor.
The overall satisfaction rate has increased to 83 per cent with only 4 per cent of those taking part say they’re dissatisfied.
According to the survey, homelessness is of greater concern than illegal drug dealing and more people say they’re concerned about speeding cars in their neighbourhoods than being burgled.
