City Doesn’t Fare Badly From Massive Rainfall

City Police reporting a section of Fairville Boulevard on the west side began flooding last night around 10 and barricades were set up.

Environment Canada reports we had over 100 millimeters of rain as of midnight in Saint John. In St. Stephen, just over 45 millimeters of rain fell yesterday.

NB Power is reporting over 81 hundred homes and businesses are without power with most in Woodstock, Tracadie and Bathurst. There were no power outages in the Saint John area, Sussex or St. Stephen.
