The New Brunswick Court of Appeal ruling on the side of the Gallant Government and upholding the decision by provincial Education Minister Serge Rouselle to close Browns Flat Elementary and Lorne Middle School.
Rouselle issuing a statement saying that while the decision may serve the public interest he does recognize that it’s not what some communities wanted to hear.
Rouselle saying the DEC made a decision based on the requirements outlined in Policy 409 and he respects their recommendations to close the schools.
