Rally Being Organized Ahead Of Legislature Opening Tomorrow

We wouldn’t call it a warm welcome back.

A rally is being organized in Fredericton tomorrow, as the Legislature opens up.

John Gardner, with the Concerned Citizens of Charlotte County, says they don’t agree with what is happening with the province. “We are looking to have a really good crowd out tomorrow. We want to see the numbers. Yes, we have speakers on hand, but at the same point in time, we recognize that there’s a lot more issue out there.”

Gardner says there are many areas in which the provincial government is harming New Brunswickers. Some of the main issues being brought up at the rally include the privatization of Extra Mural services, as well privatizing the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, the effects of cutbacks on nursing homes, job losses, and the failing economy as a whole.

The rally will take place from 11am-1pm, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29th, on the lawn of the Legislature in Fredericton.
