Summer 2016 will feature a brand new event called The Area 506 Festival.
It will celebrate all things New Brunswick including music, culture and goods.
Festival chair Ray Gracewood tells CHSJ News the event will feature 10 to 12 different musical artists.
He says Saint John has a very diverse demographic so they have tried to create a musical lineup that appeals to everyone includding artists like Grace Potter, Matt Anderson, 1755, July Talk and Big Sugar.
People checking out the event on New Brunswick Day weekend can experience a New Brunswick food and beer garden, multi-cultural displays and more.
The event will also be held in what is described a unique shipping container village on Long Wharf from July 29th to 31st.
