The storm damage will not only be costly but it’s going to take sometime to get everything back to normal with washed out roads and bridges that are no longer there.
Kings Centre M-L-A Bill Oliver lives in Belleisle and finds himself cut off but he has heard of significant flooding around Welsford from Hoyt to Berwick with concern about damage done to the cabbage fields.
Oliver adds there are at least a dozen bridges and culverts washed out in the Belleisle area.
The Belleisle Valley Fire Department warns it’s difficult for them to respond to emergencies.
