Man Dies In Storm

The extreme weather that battered New Brunswick has left at least one person dead.

The RCMP say a 51-year-old Sussex area man died while hooking up his sump pump when a retaining wall collapsed on him.

Six duck hunters were rescued from Grand Lake after their boat started to sink.

They managed to get to a small island where they were rescued. A Hoyt man also rescued by boat after his SUV flipped onto its roof below Route 101 which washed out.

There were 10 crashes caused either by hydroplaning or collapsed roads as well as numerous reports of water flowing over roadways.
