Moncton Teen Auditions To Perform On La Voix Junior

Thirteen year old Madison Roy has always wanted to be a musician. Her dad Randy says from the time she was just two years old, she always loved to sing.

Auditions for La Voix Junior were recently held in Moncton, and Madison was there.

Madison won’t find out until June whether or not she’ll get the chance to travel to Montreal to perform for the judges for La Voix Junior, but she says the audition process so far has been a very memorable, “Even if I don’t make it, it was such a great experience. I met a lot of really nice people there and kids that had the same talents as me. It was great! “

La Voix Junior is similar to The Voice. If she is chosen to move on, she’ll face the three judges, with the hopes that at least one will turn their chair, and she’ll get to choose who she wants to have as her coach.

Madison says there’s one artist she really looks up to as a musician, “Taylor Swift, because she always keep going with her music. If anyone ever says something bad about her music, she just keeps on working.”

And for other young artists, Madison has this advice, “Keep on working hard at your music, and follow your dreams because they are possible.”
