Rothesay’s deputy mayor is no longer running for mayor unopposed.
Town councillor Pat Gallagher-Jette has joined the race to replace outgoing mayor Bill Bishop and will be up against Dr. Nancy Grant.
Meantime, in Quispasmsis, Beth Fitzpatrick has announced that she will be running for mayor. She’ll be facing incumbent Murray Driscoll and town councillor Gary Clark.
Elections are on May 9.
