Spring has sprung with a makeover on Queen Square West.
Over the next couple of weeks, the old light standards will be replaced by five new LED heritage light standards that you now see in your travels uptown. The new light standards will also have electrical outlets community groups will be able to utilise when they stage activities in the park.
You’re also going to see new park benches, garbage cans and signage.
The pathways are going to be repaired and there will be what’s described as minor landscaping.
