Saint John Housing Market Described As Thriving

The latest survey on house prices released by Royal LePage describes Saint John as one of the most affordable regions in the country. It goes on to say Saint John continues to thrive as low interest rates entice many into the housing market.

According to Royal LePage, the median price of a two-storey home has increased over the past year by over 10 per cent to more than $238 thousand.The median price of a bungalow increased by 6.8 per cent to more than $198 thousand.

The aggregate price of a home in Saint John rose by 8 per cent year-over-year to more than $218 thousand during the first three months of the year.
