The performance standard for ambulances to respond to emergency calls is 9 minutes or less 90 per cent of the time in urban areas.
The President of Ambulance NB Matt Crossman says they’re exceeding that.
He says in 2012-13 they were at 94.1 per cent compliance and in 2013-14 they were at 95.1 per cent compliance for
urban performace.
In rural areas, the standard is 22 minutes or less 90 per cent of the time.
