A second group of New Brunswick firefighters is heading to British Columbia to help battle forest fires.
A 20-person fire crew will leave today for Kamloops, that includes a ranger and a safety officer from the Department of Energy and Resource Development. A pump mechanic left for Prince George on Saturday.
Last week, the department sent a 22-person crew to the same region.
They will be helping to relieve crews that are currently battling wildfires there.
Around 40, 000 residents have been evacuated from their homes in BC, as around 160 wildfires burn out of control in the central and southern part of the province.
