Employers thinking of hiring young people this summer can now apply for financial assistance.
Applications are now being accepted for this year’s Canada Summer Jobs program.
It offers subsidies to both small businesses and the public sector such as municipalities who hire young people between the ages of 15 and 30 this summer.
The federal initiative is also open to not-for-profit organizations.
