Bell Aliant internet outage restored

Some Bell Aliant customers in the Saint John region started their day without internet.

The company confirms that a hardware issue caused the outage early Wednesday morning.

Customers in Saint John, Grand Bay-Westfield, Hampton and Sussex reported problems with their internet.

Spokesperson Katie Hatfield said service was restored around 10:30 a.m. after an equipment reboot.

Hatfield said if you are still experiencing issues, you should restart your modem or contact Bell Aliant for more support.
