The body of a fisherman who was reported missing has been found following an extensive search in the Kennebecasis Valley.
Kennebecasis Regional Police say an investigation is pending as they’re waiting on the results of an autopsy.
They received a report of a 70-year-old man who went fishing during the day but didn’t come home on Monday night.
The search for him took place where his canoe was found overturned in a pond behind the Barsa subdivision in Rothesay and he was found by River Valley Search and Rescue this morning.
