Businesses and people who live in the Harbourview Subdivision find themselves under a boil water order following a power failure.
The city says boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, brushing your teeth, making ice, juice, coffee, tea or washing vegetables that will not be cooked. It is safe for people to take showers, bathe and use swimming pools. It’s also safe to wash dishes in hot, soapy water and then air dry as well as using a dishwasher.
Saint John Energy reported another power failure in the Harbourview Subdivision earlier this morning affecting an estimated 100 customers.
